AIRPORT TRANSFERS

On arrival in Riga, you will be transported from the airport to your hotel by one of our female guides in a new Mercedes Vito Minibus. It's only a short drive, but you may as well travel in comfort. You will also be transported from your hotel to the airport for your flight home, so there is no waiting for taxis or hanging around.

Select as one of your activities	CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING Takes place in newly built clay shooting centre under close supervision of qualified instructors. Up to four people can shoot at a time. You group will be provided with shotguns, cartridges and ear protectors. There are several machines launching clays from different directions at various speeds, so instructors can make shooting fairly easy for the novice or challenging enough to test the more experienced. The centre has a bar. Each person is given two attempts on each clay - either 15 clays and up to 30 shotgun cartridges Activity time: 2.5 hours Location: 40 minutes drive
Select as one of your activities	OLYMPIC/TEAM BOBSLEIGH Sigulda is the only Olympic-standard bobsleigh track in the Baltics, home of national team. There are ten curves and one bridge. Olympic Bobsleigh is available in winter only, whilst the track is iced – roughly November till March. During summer months, the same venue organises Team Bobsleigh, which is performed with a Bob on wheels on the same track. Each descent takes down three participants. One descent per person. The bob is piloted by ex-Olympic team member. Activity is state-run and is known for cancelling bookings without notice due to unscheduled training sessions and track maintenance. In this case we will provide an alternative activity. Activity time - 1.5 hours Location: 1 hour drive
Select as one of your activities	PAINTBALL Based on an outdoor field with a disused factory building, old cars, cabins to hide etc. Paintball is played using different variations of its basic rules, mainly two opposing teams seeking to eliminate all of the other team's players or to complete an objective, such as retrieving a flag, eliminating a specific player, "death match" etc. Each participant is provided with equipment and first 100 paintballs. Includes: 100 paint balls Activity time - 3 hours Location: 30 minutes drive
Select as one of your activities	ZORBING, TOBOGGANING and FUNNY BUNGEE As well as Zorbing (where you'll roll down the hill and across the water), the same site has summer fun tobogganing track and fun bungee – not as scary as jumping off the bridge or cable car – this one goes up and down within its safety system. We have combined all three activities. Set in beautiful Gauja national park which has a decent restaurant on the Zorbing hill overlooking activities. Each person gets 1 Zorbing ride down the hill, 2 runs of summer tobogganing and 10 min of fun bungee jumping. Location: 1 hour drive Activity time - lasts 4 hours
Select as one of your activities	HOVERCRAFTING This is a unqiue experience The Hovercrafts travel at around 40 miles per hour. Activity takes place lakeside, starting off on the ground, and then speeding off over the beach and shoreline vegetation onto the lake, crossing it, embarking on the other side and coming back. In winter the hovercraft still goes over the snow and ice or water. You group will receive instruction on the safety rules. Two people per Hovercraft. Winter participants advised to wrap warm. Time in craft is around 10 minutes per person. Location: 40 minutes drive Activity time - lasts 2 hours
